San Francisco Marina

This residential neighborhood has some of the city's finest houses and lovliest views. It wasn't until the aftermath of the 1906 earthquake that major development began in the Marina. Between Chestnut Street, Lombard Street and Cow Hollow's Union Street, the area features wonderful and hip boutiques, antique shops and cafes. Here you'll find the city's second largest concentration of upscale shopping. Union Street and Chestnut Street provide some of San Francisco's best window-shopping.
